A /uses page — what I actually reach for, rather than what I'd recommend in the abstract. Things here rot, so the date above is when I last went through it.

Desk

TODO: computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, chair, anything else on the desk.

Editor and terminal

TODO: editor, terminal, shell, font, theme. Worth saying what you've settled on and what you keep bouncing off of.

Photography

Most of what ends up on /photos is shot on an iPhone — the EXIF on this site says iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 Pro. Aerial shots come from a DJI drone, which reports itself as FC3170 and nothing more helpful than that.

TODO: any actual camera bodies and lenses, and what you edit in.

Music

TODO: instruments, interface, DAW, monitors or headphones. I'm playing cello and viola at the moment, and working toward picking the violin back up.

This site

React and TypeScript, built with Vite and prerendered to static HTML by vite-react-ssg. It deploys to GitHub Pages from GitHub Actions on every push. Plain CSS in one stylesheet — no framework.

Four Cloudflare Workers do what a static site can't: listening, reading, guestbook, and photo ingest, backed by D1 for records, KV for precomputed aggregates, and R2 for every image the site serves. The domain is on Cloudflare Registrar and the analytics are Cloudflare's cookieless ones. The colophon goes into how the pieces fit together.
